Functional Skills Programme

Functional Skill qualifications provide the learner with the basic practical skills required in day to day life, education and the workplace. The qualifications are in English, Maths and ICT. They are available at Entry Level 1 through to Level 2.

At Crown Tuition, we provide supplementary lessons for all three subjects and help students get through their functional skills qualifications. Students are given help in understanding basic concepts and identify different problem solving mechanisms to be able to successfully pass the examinations. We carefully work with the students and parents to monitor progress through regular assessment and feedback to help the students to achieve their qualification.

Students who are interested in joining Crown Tuition to brush up their knowledge and understanding in functional skills have the opportunity to do tuition either on an individual basis or group subject to availability.

Students can join Crown Tuition at any time of the year however we recommend leaving sufficient time before the exam to join us to get the maximum benefit out of the help we can provide you. This will allow us sufficient time to prepare the student for the exam.
